my date was fantastic!!! Darling came to fetch me to Vivocity. he was at that area before meeting me, so I thought maybe I'll take a train down to meet him. however he sms-ed me that he'll come and pick me up. how sweet right??

we had our lunch at Marche. actually I took some pictures of the food. however, I realized that it was saved into the phone memory. got no cable with me now, so I can't get the pictures out. since the show only starts at 3.50pm. we walked around a bit. oh, forgot to mention we watched Hell Boy II: The Golden Army. the show was nice. though I hope that the princess did not die in the end.

Darling and I both agreed that it was something that we had not done for a long time ever since Lil Darling was born. it gives us an opportunity to re-connect together again.

my MIL found this website; http://www.britishcouncil.org/kids-songs.htm. It has songs like Incy Wincy Spider, Old Macdonald, etc with animations. Lil Darling can sit on our laps, watch the animations and listen to the songs for more than 5 mins! her Barney vcd can't even make her do that! however, the silly gal will get upset when she saw Incy disappeared into the water spout. she actually cried when Incy did that. so we decided not let her listen to that song.

Half A Day at Botanical Garden

Daddy and Mummy decided to bring me to Singapore Botanical Garden after my chicken pox booster jab. there is a children playground, called Jacob Ballas Children Garden. Mummy had been reading the forum and found that a lot of other mummies had brought their little ones there. It's a nice and peaceful place. less crowds, lots of greeneries. I want Daddy and Mummy to bring me there again!!

by the way, Mummy brought Daddy to the wrong entrance and hence parked at the wrong carpark, which is quite a long walk to the Jacob Ballas. we should had went in by the Cluny Road entrance. Mummy had made a mental note on that. :D

Some updates

oops... realised I've deserted this blog for sometime.

okies.. here are some updates

1. Eruption of Lil Darling's 5th and 6th teeth
they are the upper and lower teeth beside the right upper and lower incisor. that explains her lost in appetite. she is total anti-food for a week. even our food and her favorite potato!! feeding her actually took more than an hour and most of the food actually gone to Scooby. btw, Lil Darling and Scooby can be really good friend when it comes to mealtimes. Scooby will hang around her and she will just intentionally (though trying to pretend it's accidentally) drop HER food onto the floor.

2. Flu
yes, Lil Darling caught a flu, but don't know from who. cuz no one in the house caught it before her. in fact, she spread it to her Grandma. haha... anyway, I think children medicines are sweet nowadays. Lil Darling actually look forward to her cough mixture and her flu medicine. when we bring out her bottles of medicine, she actually looked excited and take in the dosage willingly.

3. Fall and Bleed
Lil Darling fell down while walking. :( I was holding her walking after her dinner. she was oily (she likes to use her hand to put the food in her mouth and then touch her arms), and trying to wriggle out of my hand. before I knew it, she was face down on the floor. we quickly carried her up, and saw her mouth was full of blood. it's a sad and horrible sight. Daddy Sam and I panicked when we saw that. lucky Grandma was calm enough to use the ice cubes to ease her pain. she was wailing all the way even though she had stopped bleeding. so Daddy Sam brought her down to have a walk, but she came back with 2 mozzie bites on her legs. anyway I was damn guilty lor. if I had chose to carry and not let her walk, she may not had fell down.

3. Zoo Trip
managed to get the corporate pass from my company. one pass admits for 4 adults. it's worth it cuz one ticket costs S$16.50. so went with Honey Ling, Jordan, Jaslyn, Jaslyn's boyfriend and their nephew. there were 5 adults, so Jaslyn's boyfriend gotta pay for the ticket. well, it's HOT and TIRING. we went on a Saturday, so it's EXTREMELY FULL OF PEOPLE. Lil Darling did not take her nap, so she was like not that interested. we stayed there for around 4 hours. did not manage to see all the animals. only managed to catch the white tiger, hippo's butt, orang utan (we paid respect to Ah Meng too), parrots, penguins, wild boars, kangaroos, elephants, crocs and some other little animals that I don't know the name. sorry, not much pictures, cuz I was too not in the mood to take pictures. haha... well, Daddy Sam and I decided to go another time to see the rest of the animals. wait till I can ballot the pass again. heh...

Handmade hair clips

suddenly 心血来潮, decided to make hair clips for my Lil Darling. hasn't been doing handicrafts for quite some time. this last one I did was my wedding ring pillow. hoho... I was telling Honey Kris if I can sustain this new interest, I'll do one for her little niece.

so yesterday after work, went to Spotlight at PS to get the materials. below are the 2 that I've made so far. the one on the bottom is done last night in the dark while watching the Spain vs Russia match. the one on top is done this morning. gimme some comments ya!! :D
