U miss me?

don't blame Mummy for not updating my blog. she's still confused about her work. anyway, Mummy took pictures of me but she did not copy out from the camera, so... no pictures this time round. *bleah* don't worry, my looks haven't change much, so if you really miss me, can refer to the previous posts. hoho...

just an update, Mummy was quite upset for a while when she brought me for my 2nd dose of pneumoccal jab 2 Saturdays ago. I did not gain any weight since the last visit. she was hoping that I can pass the 7kg mark. however, her upset was short-lived cuz Daddy bought her a new handphone. err... actually that was her over-due christmas pressie. it's a Sony Ericsson W910i.

during these couple of weeks, Granny and my parents are busy packing their house. no, not becuz of CNY. This is becuz they are moving to stay together. they say it's better for me, cuz I don't have to be shuttled to and fro. actually I suspect the real reason is that Daddy and Mummy don't have to wake up early in the morning.

I've also been drooling a lot, cry more often and easily irritated. my gum is making me very uncomfortable. so I always want Mummy to carry me for comfort.

Daddy was very excited when he saw me walked 3 steps towards him unsupported before tumbling down. so nowadays Daddy and Mummy will walk me around the house. I like that, especially when I can walk towards Daddy's shoes and put my little feet inside.

I'm growing everyday... hee...

oh, this will be my 1st birthday pressie from Daddy and Mummy.

what is a skin polyp?

An acrochordon (a.k.a. skin tag, pedunculated papilloma or fibroepithelial polyp) is a small benign tumor that forms primarily in areas where the skin forms creases, such as the neck, armpits and groin. They may also occur on the face, usually on the eyelids. Though larger have been seen, they usually range in size from grain of rice to that of a golf ball. The surface of acrochordons may be smooth or irregular in appearance. Often, they are raised from the surface of the skin on a fleshy stalk called a peduncle. Microscopically, an acrochordon consists of a fibrovascular core, sometimes also with fat cells, covered by an unremarkable epidermis.

Skin tags are harmless, although they are sometimes irritated by clothing or jewelry and can interfere with shaving and other routine grooming. Why and how skin tags form is not entirely known, but there are correlations with age and obesity (think this does not apply to Daddy Sam). They are more common in people with diabetes mellitus and in pregnant women. It is estimated that by age 70, up to 59 percent of people have them.[citation needed] A genetic component (causation) is thought to exist. Rarely, they can be associated with the Birt-Hogg-Dubé syndrome and Polycystic Ovary Syndrome.

anyway it's an extra small piece of growth daggling on his left side of his waist connected by a skin. it has been there even before I know him. according to him, it seemed to has grown bigger over the years. so we went to the GP and he recommended to have it removed, though he assured that it is actually harmless. however, it'll continue to grow.

so yesterday he went to Gleneagles Hospital to have it removed. it's subsidized by his company anyway. well, I must praise him for being brave cuz he went to have it removed all by himself!! but as usual, he exaggerated the whole process. he told me that the doctor used a chopper to remove it , gave him 10 stitches after that, his left leg is still numb due to the anesthetics and the syringe is as big as the epidural syringe.

anyway I was hoping that he can bring the skin tag back to keep it as souvenir. but the doctor wanted to do some tests on it to make sure that it is not cancerous. poor skin tag, it must be lying on some cold tray now with part of it being scrapped off to be put under the microscope.

Lil Ariel was very sweet this morning. when she woke up, she gave me the can-you-carry-me look. so I carried her, and she just rested her head on my chest and stone. when Daddy Sam stretched out his arm for her, she just hide her face in my chest. awww... can't wait to see her tonight.

anyway, I thought I was very early today. I reached office at 7.30am. guess what? my boss's boss was even earlier lor. so we entertained each other a bit. actually I'm very tempted to ask her how much she paid for her LV bag.

oh yes, Welcome Baby Seraphine. Auntie Sabina gave birth to her on Sunday. Lil Ariel got a little mei mei to play with.

finally I'm back at work. well, I'm posted to a new team doing middleman job (at least no programming, I hope). BUT the LAN point for my new seat is not patched, new PC with 19 inch flat-screen monitor not set-up and the administrator has not renew my lotus notes certificate.

fortunately Elmo went to Korea, so that I can borrow her PC (without her permission). hey, hope you'll buy some tidbits back ya. so here I am typing this post and happily chatting with others. wanted to play Facebook, but Ah Wang reminded me that what I surf will be tracked.

anyway, I'm still lost, blur and confused. I've stayed at home too long.

checked with my mother-in-law, Lil Ariel seemed to be quite happy and contented alone with them. I feel less worried. I was really afraid that she'll be very upset and cranky. can't wait to go back and see her tonight.

by the way, she's back to the cannot-sleep-without-light mode. we got to switch on the toilet light for her. and due to that, I did not had a good night sleep last night, but Daddy Sam said I could not sleep is because I've got to come back to work today. probably true.

I shall continue to rot.
