this is the very first post. decided to blog our experience as a first-time parent after 18 weeks. yes!! today mark the 18th week of our little blessing.
these 18 weeks have been full of ups and downs, with the morning sickness and loss of appetite during the first trimester. appetite getting slightly better during the second trimester, at least i can keep the food down. tummy has started to show, tho some of the colleagues still think i look fat rather than pregnant. my hubby has taken over most of the cooking during dinner, cuz he didn't want me to stand too long. (aww... so shweet....)
our gynae has more or less confirmed that bb is a gal!! so we too have started to refer her as "she" instead of "it", and her name will be Ariel!
18 weeks ago when we found out that i was pregnant, we were quite lost. we are not sure if we are ready to be parents, whether we have the capabilities to raise children financially (we just got married this year and had spent a bomb on the wedding and honeymoon) etc. lots of questions raced through our minds. in the end, we decided that it is a blessing from God. we have read about couples trying very hard to have a child and here we are having one so soon, is it not a blessing? after seeing the baby through the first ultrascan, we fell in love with her immediately and still loving her more and more everyday.
hopefully i can start feeling some obvious movements in a few weeks time!!
